POLICE are on the lookout for a Powys man who failed to show up for a court appearance after being charged with three separate sexual assaults on a woman.
Alistair Watkin, from Meifod, is accused of two sexual assaults on a female and one attempted sexual assault.
All three charges are alleged to have been committed on the same day, October 3, 2021, in Welshpool.
The 28-year-old, of Rose Cottage, Meifod, was due to appear at Welshpool Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, September 20, but failed to attend – so the bench issued a warrant for his arrest, which was not backed by bail.
