The inquest into the death of a 40-year-old woman who was found unresponsive in her bathroom after an evening out with her partner has opened.
Jennifer Anne Groves had returned to her home in Oak Meadow, Bishop's Castle on the evening of Saturday, August 27, and told her partner that she was going upstairs to bed, Shropshire Coroner's Court heard.
A short while later her partner went upstairs to find Ms Groves unresponsive in the bathroom.
West Midlands Ambulance Service and West Mercia Police attended Ms Groves home after her partner called 999. Despite the best efforts of the paramedics she was pronounced dead at 1.10am on Sunday, August 28.

A hearing on Tuesday, September 6, that formally opened the inquest into the support worker's death heard that police were satisfied that there were no suspicious circumstances and no third party involvement.
The inquest was adjourned until a full hearing can take place on December 6.
