A Powys man is to face trial after denying that he was abusive towards his father and that he damaged his property.
Jonathan Boshell, 38, of Bryn Dial Farm, Guilsfield, said he was "absolutely not guilty" to breaching a non-molestation order and causing criminal damage on August 17.
He said he was "happy" for the trial to go ahead at Welshpool Magistrates' Court.
The charge states that Mr Boshell had "without lawful excuse" damaged a gate-mounted heat-triggered sensor worth £35 that belonged to David Boshell.
The 38-year-old also denies standing in David Boshell's driveway and being abusive towards him. A non-molestation order was made by Wrexham Family Court on May 14, 2021.
Mr Boshell was remanded in custody "to prevent interference with witnesses or otherwise obstruct the course of justice" until his trial at Welshpool Magistrates' Court on October 5. A case management hearing will be held on September 22.
