A BRIDGE near Llanymynech is to close on September 16 while an inspection is being carried out.
The A495 over Rhyd Meredith Bridge, will be closed between 9.30am and 4pm on the Friday, and traffic will be diverted along the A495, A483, B4398, B4393 and A494 by a signed diversion.

The inspection is only expected to last one day The road closure with be undertaken by Shropshire Council’s maintenance contractor Kier, and the inspection by the council’s consultant WSP.
