POLICE in Powys are asking for the public’s help in searching for a prisoner who has ties to the Mid Wales area who failed to return to prison last week after being released on licence.
Dyfed Powys Police said Jon Marc Stephens has links to Brecon and Builth Wells areas.
The 36-year-old is wanted by Avon and Somerset Police after he failed to return to HMP Leyhill in Gloucestershire last Wednesday, August 17, having been released on temporary licence.
He was last seen wearing black clothing and a fluorescent tabard.
Avon and Somerset Police warned the public not to approach Stephens but to call 999 if he is spotted and quote reference 5222198207.
