A POPULAR TV presenter is set to join a group of women in a 45-mile cycling event through Powys.
The event, Pedal Pushers #LadiesOnly, is run by Adrenaline Sporting Events, a community of people that love taking part in sporting events including fitness, competition, charity, health, or fun.
Louise Minchin , the former BBC breakfast presenter and I'm A Celebrity contestant, has now signed up for the event, and will join in with the 45-mile ride alongside a number of local women.
The route goes from outside Oswestry, near the Mile End Golf Club, towards Llanyblodwel, past Pen y Bont Llanerch Emrys, towards Llangedwyn, Aber Rhaedr, and Llanfyllin.

It then passes Llansantffraid-ym-Mechain, past Llandysilio, into Kinnerley then back to the finishing point outside Oswestry.
Tickets to enter the event cost £30, and can be purchased on Adrenaline Sports' website https://www.adrenalinesportingevents.co.uk/pedal-pushers/
There is also a local cycling coach, Dave Scott, who will be offering a plan together with Alan to help anyone that wants in on the challenge to be ready for the big ride.
You can find Dave at www.davescottcoaching.co.uk, and the plan on the Adrenaline Sporting Events website.
They have colour coded the plan with Pink being for those taking part in the 30-mile event and black for the 45-mile event, and they advise participants to warm up and cool down before each session, and on Wednesdays mix it up with a gentle run/walk/trip to the gym.
