A TEENAGE burglar from Powys will wear an electronic tag for the next 10 weeks after he admitted stealing from a café.
Joshua Howells, 19, was jointly involved in the theft of a quantity of various drinks valued at £182.75 from the Cat Soup Kitchen in Brecon on March 19 this year.
Howells, of Castle Street, Brecon, admitted theft when he appeared at Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates' Court on Friday, August 5. The offence was committed with others.
As part of a three-month community order made by magistrates, Howells will be tagged and have to remain indoors at his home between 9pm and 6am each day until October 13.
He must also pay compensation of £95.79, as well as a £95 surcharge and £85 costs.
