A man has been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon after a hammer attack in a Powys border town.
The incident happened in the Nisa store in High Street, Kington, on Friday, July 22, where a woman was assaulted with a hammer.

Alexander Stone, 37, of Bridge Street, Kington was arrested on Friday and charged on Saturday.
He is remanded in custody to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on Monday (July 25).
