The collision occurred between Builth and Erwood
A ROAD traffic collision temporarily closed the A470 near Builth Wells this morning – but it is now passable with traffic lights in place.
The collision occurred on the major Powys road, between Builth and Erwood, at around 8am this morning, with emergency services attending the scene.
“A470 Builth Wells to Erwood – the road has now reopened with temporary stop and go in place,” Traffic Wales tweeted a short time ago.
Earlier, they had said: “Builth Wells to Erwood road closed in both directions due to a collision.
Emergency services are on scene. Please avoid the area if you're travelling.”
