POLICE are investigating the theft of more than 1,000 litres of diesel from a Powys farm.
Dyfed Powys Police’s Rural Crime Team said the theft occurred in the Talgarth area sometime this week. The theft of 1,000 litres of diesel could put the value of it at approximately £2,000.
“Over 1,000 litres of diesel has been stolen from a storage tank on a private farmyard in the Talgarth area, near Brecon,” police tweeted.
“This offence took place sometime during the past week. We urge farmers to be vigilant and report anything suspicious.”
