A VEHICLE ended up on its roof this morning following an early morning road traffic collision.
The incident, involving a blue Mercedes vehicle, happened at around 6.20am on the A483 at Abermule, between Newtown and Welshpool.
Emergency services attended the scene, although the Welsh Ambulance Service attended only as a precaution and it is not believed that any hospital treatment was required.
Dyfed Powys Police said in a statement: “At approximately 6.20am this morning )June 24), a one vehicle RTC was reported on the A483 Abermule.
“Vehicle involved was a blue Mercedes, and it was on its roof. Fire service was at the scene, and ambulance as a precaution.”
Montgomery firefighters attended the incident, with the fire station tweeting: “Shout. 03P1 mobilised this morning at 6.33am to single vehicle RTC near Abermule.
“Crews assisted in making vehicle safe, and trunk road clearance @DyfedPowys @WelshAmbulance @PowysCC also in attendance.”
It is not believed that the accident involved any road closures, although there were delays following the accident.
