A town centre chapel in Llanidloes is looking for a new owner after the property was placed on the market.
People who are looking for somewhere different to live can now purchase the Grade-II listed former methodist chapel and Sunday School Room.
Market by London-based estate agency Inigo, the 6,360 sq. ft property in Long Bridge Street is up for sale with an asking price of £265,000.
In 2020, the owners were granted planning permission to convert the church into a three-bedroom house with adjoining guest accommodation.
The new owners can convert the chapel into a modern and open-plan living space, with an office and cosy snug and fireplace in the first-floor gallery.
The chapel's organ can be removed to create a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom in its chamber. Proposals also include bedrooms on either side of the chapel.
The adjoining Sunday School can be split into two guest accommodation annexes with the existing bathroom and kitchenette retained.
The 148-year-old Wesleyan Chapel, located next to the Spar shop, closed as a place of worship in 2018 and was put on the market on the instructions of the trustees of the Methodist Church.
