POLICE are investigating an incident of a large amount of sheep being stolen from a Powys farm over a period of the last seven months.
Dyfed Powys Police say approximately 150 white faced Welsh breeding ewes have been stolen from land in the Abergwesyn area, near Llanwrtyd Wells, between November 2021 and June 2022.
The force’s Rural Crime Team said: “We are appealing for information regarding sheep being stolen from the Abergwesyn area.
“Between Nov 2021-June 2022, around 150 white faced Welsh breeding ewes have been stolen, which is the latest in a series of reported sheep thefts in the area.”
