Photographer Phil Blagg and our reporter Josh Price were on hand to meet some of the groups who took part in events in the two towns to mark the UK's first ever Platinum Jubilee.
In Welshpool a Jubilee Carnival was held on Sunday with floats proceeding through the town before holding a carnival at Maes-y-dre Recreation Ground.
Llanfair Caereinion Town Council and Jubilee Community Working Group held a Jubilee afternoon tea/street party and childrens fancy dress competition.
This was funded by the Llanfair Caereinion Royal British Legion Grant from the National Lottery Community Fund originally for the VE Day, 75 years celebrations but was cancelled due to Covid in 2020.
