Cases of coronavirus are "continuing to reduce" in Powys, the county's health board has confirmed.
Changes to monitoring of the virus across Wales lately, including a substantial reduction in community testing, mean that the specific case numbers in Powys are no longer available on a daily basis.
But Powys Teaching Health Board has now confirmed that cases have continued to fall recently, and are below the average seen across Wales.
A spokesperson for Powys Teaching Health Board said: “Cases of Covid-19 in Powys continue to reduce and remain below the Wales average.
"Strong public uptake of the initial and booster phases of the mass vaccination campaign have helped provide a good level of protection to our population.
“Following changes in UK legislation the number of test episodes completed and reported have been in steady decline.
"Hospitals, primary and community care settings throughout Powys continue to be extremely busy and the NHS and social care providers are facing sustained pressure on their services.
"However, this high level of demand cannot be directly attributed to Covid-19. Hospitalisations due to the disease continue to reduce and remain at low levels.”
The most recent figures updated by the Press Association's monitoring service show that a total of 368 people had died in the county when the UK coronavirus daily dashboard was updated on May 24 – up from 365 the week before.
