A main road through Newtown that was recently resurfaced will undergo correction work over the next few weeks.
Powys County Council said Llanidloes Road is not being resurfaced, however the contractor will be correcting the levels of ironwork including gully grids, manhole and stop tap covers.
No road closures will be in place and any work will be carried out using traffic lights. The council added that it is waiting for confirmation of exact dates when work will start and finish.
County councillor for Newtown Central and South, David Selby, told constituents that the council had identified about 20 faults along the road.
"Tarmac are returning to Llanidloes Road to fix the remaining problems relating to the resurfacing work carried out a few months ago," he said.

"Powys Highways have identified approx 20 faults that need to be put right.
"There is bound to be a bit of delay whilst the work is done but Tarmac need to fix their errors."
Residents and motorists had raised concerns about the condition of the road shortly after resurfacing works were completed late last year describing it as "like an old washboard" and with "lot of humps and bumps along the full length of it".
Overnight resurfacing work along more than a kilometre of the road between the Dolfor Road junction near Lidl supermarket and the Vaynor estate junction lasted around two weeks in December.
