TYWYN Bryncrug are MMP-NL Mid Wales League West champions.
The Cormorants beat Dyffryn Banw 6-1 on Tuesday to be crowned champions and now face a play-off against the winners of the eastern league to decide the overall MMP-NL Mid Wales League championship.
This will be the one and final season of western and eastern conferences with the Mid Wales League to be divided between north and south next season in a bid to increase membership after the inaugural western league ran with a meagre seven clubs this season.
Ben Richards starred with a hat-trick while Mark Edmondson, Tom Allen and Isaac Aldred goals completed the tally with the Llangadfan side replying through Harri Evans.
A club spokesman said: "We're all over the moon to get the league over the line.
"It was our main target for the season and we are absolutely delighted to have achieved it.
"The players have been superb all season and fully deserve the league and hopefully now we can press on and win the ER Jenkins Cup and Mid Wales league playoff."
However Tywyn Bryncrug were refused a tier three license and will not be eligible to play in the Ardal leagues next season and will instead compete in the new MMP Mid Wales Central League.
