POLICE searching for a missing Powys man have discovered a body, it has been confirmed.
The man, known as Chris, has been reported as missing from Crickhowell and had last been spotted in the town on Wednesday morning, May 11.
Dyfed Powys Police reported that the 52-year-old, described as having blue eyes and mousy brown hair, was missing in the early hours of Thursday.
They provided an update a shortly before 2pm, tweeting from the force’s main account: “We can confirm a body has been found in the West Mercia Police Force area by officers searching for Chris, who was missing from Crickhowell.
“Formal ID is yet to take place, however, next of kin has been informed. Chris’ family is being supported by specialist officers.”
