A COFFEE morning in aid of Cancer Research UK was organised recently by the Builth Wells committee and was so well attended that a record-breaking amount of £962 was raised.

The money was raised by sales from the various stalls, as well as competitions and a raffle, with 12 prizes on offer in total.

It was held at the Fountain Inn pub in Builth who generously gave their support. Thanks to them and all who donated and came along to the event.
