A large cross was carried through Llanidloes to mark one of the most important days in the Christian calendar.
Every year CYTUN churches do a Walk of Witness and this year, Llanidloes held the walk on Good Friday (April 15).
People gathered to pray outside the Minerva Centre, led by CYTUN chair Marjorie Corbett, before the group set off in a silent procession behind the wooden cross
Reverend Monica O’Dea said: "After the restrictions due to Covid in the last two years and the great impact it has had on us all, it was good to mark this special day in the church calendar together."
The Easter message was heard at a United Good Friday Service at Trinity Church, Shortbridge Street, following the walk.
Rev. O'Dea added: "The congregation swelled to between 40 to 50 people, some of whom took part in a drama highlighting the role of the many witnesses to the events of Holy Week and the part they played."
CYTUN helps churches and dominations across Wales worship together.
