Car parts manufacturer Marrill Ltd has started advertising for new jobs after taking over the factory formerly owned by Stadco in Llanfyllin.
Extra staff are due to be hired at the factory after the Coventry-based manufacturer took over the facility in February 2022.
The automotive manufacturer is now looking for factory operatives to work at the facility.
The roles of the factory operative positions they are searching for include general production duties, working on a press or within the assemble department, stacking finished goods ready for dispatch or quality checking finished products.
Marill’s takeover of the factory secured over 100 jobs for people previously employed by Stadco, but the company are looking to add more.
Llanfyllin Mayor Councillor Peter Lewis was told by plant manager Neil Davies that the company was already taking on more staff during a visit earlier this month.
He said: "The factory is the largest employer in Llanfyllin, and Marrill is already recruiting more staff, due to the extra work it has taken on."
