ALL roads lead to Bryn-Y-Castell on Sunday for the 2022 final of the Aspidistra Radnorshire Cup.

The home of Knighton Town Football Club will provide the stage for the Easter weekend final as Radnor Valley and Hay St Mary's go head to head.

Valley go into the final as favourites with the Goats also in contention for the MMP-NL Mid Wales League East title.

The next month could be the village club's most successful ever with the Radnorshire side facing two matches against Builth Wells as well as home clashes against Newtown Wanderers, Hay St Mary's and Llansantffraid to decide the destination of the silverware.

However first the Goats bid to lift the county cup without talisman Joey Price whose season has come to an end through injury.

A club spokesman said: "We are looking forward to the tie against a strong Hay team.

"We have had a brilliant season so far and we’d love to top it off with some silverware."

However the final also represents a chance for the Saints to end the season with a cup in the trophy cabinet.

Manager Gareth Jenkins urged his squad to seize their moment.

He said: "We are expecting a really competitive game against a very good Radnor side.

"Radnor have been consistent all season and are also challenging for the league while we have hit some form and aim for a top five finish. It is usually an enjoyable watch for the neutral.

"We have late fitness tests on a couple of players but Adam Finn is definitely going to miss out through injury while Rob Snedden is suspended.
