A new co-working space offering desks and monitors with full high-speed internet access in Bishop’s Castle’s Enterprise House was opened this week.
With a range of individuals, businesses and council workers already using the facility, staff at Enterprise House are looking forward to welcoming new users who may be looking for a local flexible workspace or a low-cost alternative to working from home.
The project funded by Shropshire Council’s Economic Recovery Programme was officially opened by Shropshire Council’s Claire Evans and the launch was well attended with visitors enjoying a tour of the new facilities and taking the opportunity to find out all about co-working and its benefits.

Home working has increased in popularity since the beginning of the pandemic and co-working offers the flexibility and freedom of an office space without the hefty prices or lengthy contracts, while having the benefit of a friendly working environment.
Users will have access to printing facilities, on-site business and IT services and free tea and coffee. Small and large meeting rooms, with video conferencing facilities and breakout spaces are also available for hire.
