A WOMAN involved in a two-vehicle road traffic collision in Powys earlier this month has died, police have confirmed.
The woman, 36, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, along with another woman, but has since died.
Dyfed Powys Police is appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage following the fatal collision that occurred on the A483, between Llanbister and Camnant, at approximately 7.30pm on Wednesday, March 16.
The two-vehicle collision involved a white Toyota Yaris and a Volkswagen Passat. A 20-year-old woman and a 36-year-old woman were both taken to hospital with suspected serious injuries. One man and two children were also taken to hospital with suspected minor injuries, before being released.
The 20-year-old woman remains in hospital and has been described as stable but, sadly, the 36-year-old woman later died.

The accident occurred on the main A483 road running between Llandrindod Wells and Newtown. The road was closed for around 12 hours, opening at around 7am the following morning.
Police, the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service and the Welsh Ambulance Service all attended the crash.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, saw these vehicles in the area at the relevant times or anyone living in the area with CCTV or ring doorbells is asked to contact the investigation team with any information.
