A Welshpool based transport company has joined the efforts to support the people of Ukraine by setting up a donations depot.
Transport company Speed and the pallet networks the company works with have set up a transport facility to move donated goods from the UK to those fleeing the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Speed are in a position to handle the logistics of sending donated items on behalf of people donating them, free of charge.
Anyone wishing to donate items that will be shipped to those in need can do so by delivering them to the Speed warehouse in Buttington Quarry, SY21 8SZ.
Items must be delivered by Friday, March 11, in order for Speed to make collection window by delivering all items before March 14.
Items urgently required include sleeping bags, thermal blankets, raincoats, sanitary items, first aid equipment, torches, batteries, nappies, baby food, dry food, personal hygiene products and oxygen masks.
All boxed items must be boxed and taped as they may be handled several times before reaching the intended destination.
