THE Antiques Roadshow will be visiting Powis Castle later in 2022, the BBC has confirmed.
The long-running series is returning in the summer of 2022, visiting a number of venues across the UK.
And among them will be Welshpool’s own Powis Castle, which Fiona Bruce and the team are scheduled to visit on July 19.
Powis Castle said via Twitter: “It was a bit tricky keeping this one a secret, but thank goodness we don’t have to anymore.
“We’re absolutely delighted to confirm we’ll be welcoming Fiona Bruce and the Antiques Roadshow team to Powis Castle on Tuesday 19 July.”
The programme visiting Powis Castle will give residents in the surrounding areas a chance to bring in items to be appraised and valued by experts.
A spokesperson for the BBC said: “We are excited to be able to bring the Antiques Roadshow to the stunning Powis Castle and Garden in Welshpool.”
Unlike previous years, the 2022 Roadshow will be a ticketed event.
