RESIDENTS of Llandinam near Newtown are being evacuated from their homes tonight following a day of unprecedented weather.
Storm Eunice has battered the region throughout the weekend and led to many rivers and tributaries bursting their banks.
The rising water levels led to the A470 through Llandinam being closed at 7.15pm this evening with emergency services deploying a boat to evacuate residents of the village from flooded properties.
