More than one in 40 people have tested positive for Covid in the last seven days in two parts of Powys.
The latest MSOA (middle layer super output areas) figures released by Public Health Wales shows two areas of the county with Covid case rates above 2,500 cases per 100,000 people.
The highest rate in Powys is found in Newtown North.
Between December 30 and January 5, there were 167 new cases recorded in the area, giving it a case rate of 2,692.7 cases per 100,000 people.
The other area with more than one Covid case in every 40 people over the last seven days was Newtown South
Nowhere in Powys saw fewer than one per cent of people test positive in the most recent seven days of data.

- Montgomery, Trewern & Berriew: 109 new cases; a rate of 1,999.3 cases per 100,000 people
- Abermule, Churchstoke & Kerry: 116 new cases; a rate of 2,058.9 cases per 100,000 people
- Newtown North: 167 new cases; a rate of 2,692.7 cases per 100,000 people
- Newtown South: 126 new cases; a rate of 2,510.0 cases per 100,000 people
- Llanidloes, Blaen Hafren & Llandinam: 122 new cases; a rate of 1,876.3 cases per 100,000 people
- Rhayader, Newbridge-on-Wye & Elan Valley: 92 new cases; a rate of 1,275.7 cases per 100,000 people
- Knighton & Presteigne: 159 new cases; a rate of 1,646.8 cases per 100,000 people
- Llandrindod Wells: 62 new cases; a rate of 1,105.4 cases per 100,000 people
- Builth Wells & Llanwrtyd Wells: 96 new cases; a rate of 1,434.8 cases per 100,000 people
- Hay-on-Wye & Talgarth: 102 new cases; a rate of 1,199.6 cases per 100,000 people
- Sennybridge & Talybont-on-Usk: 64 new cases; a rate of 1,060.8 cases per 100,000 people
- Brecon: 135 new cases; a rate of 1,607.1 cases per 100,000 people
