Newtown will be the latest home of the Whopper, with a new Burger King restaurant soon opening in the town.
The fast-food giant is advertising jobs for a restaurant in Pool Road but has yet to announce an opening date.
Ahead of opening, Burger King is looking for restaurant managers, assistant restaurant managers, shift managers and “crew” members with interviews set to take place in late January.
It follows KFC confirming that it is to close its Pool Road restaurant on Sunday, January 9 – almost six years after opening in the town.
