FORDEN United welcome Radnor Valley to the Gaer on Saturday as the fourth round of the Emrys Morgan Cup takes centre stage.
Valley make the trip as strong favourites after dishing out a 9-1 victory in a league meeting between the sides last month.
However the home side have since picked up and handed Llanidloes Town a fright before slipping to a 3-2 defeat in the Montgomeryshire Cup last week.
Manager Jonny Roberts said: "We’re looking forward to hosting Radnor this weekend, we had a brilliant match against Llanidloes last Friday which we eventually lost but played fantastically and showed some great improvements from our recent matches.
"We love the Emrys Morgan Cup and have enjoyed getting back involved in it this year since our time in the amateur league.
"Radnor gave us a bit of a hiding when we travelled to them recently so we’ll be looking to give them a much better game this time around and hopefully pick up a more positive result.”
Meanwhile Valley are targeting cup success this season with the club also unbeaten in nine games.
The stage is set for an enthralling all MMP-NL Mid Wales League East affair.
A club spokesman said: "After a slowish start to the season, we feel we’ve picked up lately and have seven or eight wins on the bounce in all competitions and playing good football.
"We probably didn’t need the break we’ve just had to come when it did but that’s football.
"We’re still in quite a few cups with some good chances in a couple so hopefully we will get some silverware this season and all being well we keep pressure on the leaders in the league when we play our games in hand."
Elsewhere in the cup Dyffryn Banw host Aberaeron while Talgarth Town entertain Llansantffraid and Builth Wells welcome Llanfyllin Town to the Lant.
The weekend action is completed by Tywyn Bryncrug's home tie with Meifod and Hay St Marys' clash with Lampeter Town with Brecon Corries' tie with Dolgellau AA Reserves postponed.
