RESIDENTS in north Powys are being warned that there will be a disruption to their domestic refuse collection this week.
The issue will affect Montgomeryshire residents, around the Llangurig, Llanidloes and Llandinam areas – with people living in these areas asked to keep their wheelie bins or purple bags out and they will be collected sometime this week.
Powys Recycles – Powys County Council’s waste and recycling service department – tweeted today [October 25}: “Apologies – domestic refuse collection delayed in rural north Powys today.
“The areas affected will be Trefeglwys, Clatter, Bwlch y Garreg, Little London and Oakley Park.
“Please leave your wheelie bin/purple bags out and we will aim to catch up over the next few evenings.”
