A HOST of Powys club players have been recognised in the end of season Henshalls Shropshire League team of the season awards.

Alberbury duo Mark Jones and Ieuan Griffiths are joined by Newtown’s Tom Anderson in the first division pick.

Meanwhile Montgomery duo Andrew Barker and Aaron Ruff-Cock made the cut for the second division team of the season while Welshpool’s Paul Chapman earned a spot in the third division elite.

Bishop’s Castle stars Tom Moulder and Simon Palmer were both recognised in the fourth division.

Allan Williams, Dave Williams and Steve Griffiths of Guilsfield earned fifth division team of the season inclusion with Alberbury IIs’ Rob Owen also selected.

Llanidloes dominated the sixth division team of the season with Rob Davies, William Denham and Adrian Foulkes making the cut.

Finally Alberbury IIIs’ James Harrap was named captain of the Sunday League One team of the season.
