A MOTORIST stopped for speeding in Powys has been disqualified from driving for six months – due to repeat offending.
Steven Mark Voke’s Lexus NX was recorded driving at 88 miles per hour on the Newtown bypass on the upper Dolfor road at 7.55pm on May 26 this year. The 51-year-old, from Woodlesford, near Leeds, had admitted an offence of speeding.
Appearing at Llanelli Magistrates' Court on Thursday, September 30, Voke received a six-month road ban, which was described as “obligatory” due to repeat speeding offences.
He was also fined £324 and ordered to pay £90 costs as well as a £34 surcharge.
