Bettws Cedewain and Tregynon scarecrow festival will be back this month.

Organisers are hoping it will be the biggest event yet.

The popular event will be raising money for the UK Sepsis Trust in memory of local resident’s mother and all those who have been affected by the life-threatening infection.

The local community is being encouraged to take part to raise lots of money and smiles.

There will be prizes for the best scarecrows with the top prize being a stay at a local log cabin and an afternoon tea.

Registration forms can be filled at Tregynon Post Office Store and The Village Shop in Bettws Cedewain.
