POLICE have caught up with a motorist who failed to stop for officers during a chase and collided with a petrol pump.

Dyfed Powys Police’s Roads Policing Unit posted a picture of a dark Seat Leon on its Twitter feed earlier today, revealing the car was located after an extensive search on Sunday night, July 25, in Ystradgynlais.

“This car failed to stop for Ystradgynlais officers last night, colliding with a petrol pump on the way,” police said in the tweet.

“Extensive search, and vehicle located by RPU. We know who the driver is, and enquiries are ongoing.”
