MACHYNLLETH has become the first football club in Wales to install rail seating at their ground.
The club is also the first outside the English and Scottish football leagues to have rail seating installed.
The work was completed during the weekend and ensures the club in the best possible position to win their appeal after being refused entry to the Ardal North East League.
A total of 103 rail seats now fill the Cae Glas stand which has undergone an extension during the ongoing football hiatus in Wales.
A club spokesman said: "Chairman Warren Evans has spent countless hours ensuring grants and also maintenance to the new stand and is a big part to the stand being completed.
"He would also like to thank a few people includingArwen Flush Thomas, our building contractor; Ferco Seating for their brilliant services in providing and installing the seats; The FAW's Kevin Mooney for help in securing the ground improvement grants and Jon Darch from Safe Standing Roadshow.
"The club is now looking forward to welcoming back fans in line with Welsh Government Covid guidelines."
