WORK to construct a safety barrier on the A470 between Rhayader and Newbridge-on-Wye will begin on May 17 and last for six weeks.
The road will remain open to traffic at all times throughout the six-week period, with the lane closed in the northbound direction.
“Lane closed in northbound direction to facilitate the construction of a safety barrier,” tweeted Traffic Wales.
“Road will remain open to traffic at all times for the duration of the works. Planned works to start 17th May for approximately 6 weeks.
“Traffic management is required to ensure a safe working environment is maintained for operatives installing a new safety barrier.”
