Minsterley Show organisers say they are “extremely excited that it is looking very positive” that the event will go ahead this summer.
The popular event is planned to take place on Saturday, August 21.
A spokesperson for the show said: “This is of course based on the assumption that the whole country moves to Step 4 of the road map on 21st June 2021.
“We will of course only go ahead if it is safe to do so. The health and safety of our visitors, judges, exhibitors, stewards and committee members is of paramount importance.
“We are excited to welcome everyone back to our event and will be joined by Shropshire Polo as our main attraction as well as hosting the Shropshire Young Farmers 24 hour Sheep Shearing event.
“We are currently busy working on this years schedule which should be available online and in local shops and businesses from early June.”
