POLICE have branded as “unacceptable” after reporting yet more incidents of sheep worrying in Powys.
The latest incident has involved the deaths of five lambs killed over a two-week period – at the same farm. The incidents took place at a farm in Llanelwedd, just outside Builth Wells.
Dyfed Powys Police’s Rural Crime Team tweeted on Wednesday evening, October 14: “Another Livestock Worrying incident. This time in Llanelwedd, Builth Wells. 5 lambs killed in 2wks at the same farm.
“This is unacceptable, please help by keeping dogs on leads near sheep & prevent their escape from homes.”
