The Knighton Community Centre has announced that the “long awaited news is finally here” and that it can run its market – starting from this Saturday.

Writing on Facebook, the group said: “We are allowed to run our market in the car park of the community centre on Saturday, August 22, and Saturday, August 29.

“It will be from 9.30am until 12pm, there will be a one way system in place and social distancing will be required with only one person per stall at any time.

“The public toilets are going to be open. We do ask that although this event is outside, if you or anyone you’ve had contact with is suffering from Covid 19 symptoms that you do not attend.

“Please spread the word. We look forward to welcoming you all back and keep your eyes peeled for further updates.”
