The leisure centre in Bishop’s Castle has shared the “great news” that it will be opening on Monday, August 24.

A SpArC Bishop’s Castle spokesman said: “We are looking forward to seeing you all again.

“Staff have worked extremely hard in preparation to make the centre a safe environment for a return to exercise.

“Phase one of reopening will see the fitness suite, group exercise classes and the swimming pool available and plans continue to allow access to other activities and areas of the centre as soon as possible.

“We will be providing additional information throughout the week, explaining how to book an activity and what to expect.”
