A GRAND total of £9,000 has been given out in grants to 18 difference community groups in and around Llandrindod Wells.
The grants were awarded by Tesco as part of it Bags of Help scheme – where the supermarket gave out £500 in coronavirus support funding.
The groups to benefit are: Presteigne Scout Group, Help Our Homeless Wales x2, Builth Wells Scout Group, Builth Wells Community Support, BCA Independent Advocacy Service Llandrindod Wells, Wales off Road Academy, Llandrindod Wells Air Cadets 579, Rhayader Scout, Llandrindod Wells 1st Scouts Group, Church Together in Knighton and District, Mid-North Powys Mind, Cymryd Rhan Companions, Llanwrtyd Community Transport, Llandrindod Wells Foodbank, Celf O Gwmpas and Bracken Trust Cancer Support Trust.
