A motorbike group revved their respects for NHS front line workers with a ride-out to Llandrindod Wells War Memorial Hospital.
Members of the Powys Chapter of the Valley Commandos MC motorcycle club showed their respect and appreciation for the NHS this week when they dropped in on the hospital.
The bikers celebrated the hard work of local frontline staff working on the Claerwen and Clywedog Wards during Covid-19 virus crisis. Having raised more than £ 800 in donations, a variety of requested goods were then purchased on behalf of the hospital from its 'items needed list’.
Claerwen ward manager and senior sister Marie Berriman, who was among some of the key workers that greeted the bikers, said: “Llandrindod hospital staff would like to sincerely thank the Valley Commandos and their supporters for the mass of donations received today.
"The generosity of this group and the wider community is overwhelming and has gone a long way to helping our patients and staff. Not all heroes wear capes, some wear helmets and ride bikes. Stay safe. With much love and thanks on behalf of us all."
