A CASE against two people charged with cultivating cannabis in Mid Wales had to be adjourned on Friday (February 15) because no Vietnamese interpreter had been arranged for their plea hearing at Mold Crown Court.
Quan Vu, 55, and Bang Vu, 44, both of no fixed abode, are in custody charged with being concerned in the production of cannabis in January.
But Judge Niclas Parry adjourned the case in their absence and said a plea hearing would be held on Friday, March 8.
He fixed a provisional trial date for April 15.
The judge said a letter of explanation was needed why no interpreter had been arranged for the hearing.
