WELSHPOOL High School has a new deputy headteacher, Josh Kinsey, who was previously the deputy at a school in Wolverhampton.
Headteacher Jim Toal said: “I am delighted to welcome Mr Kinsey to Welshpool High School as our new deputy headteacher.
“Mr Kinsey was the outstanding candidate in a very strong field of applicants for the position, and brings a great deal of experience and expertise to the post.
“He joins a successful school with dedicated and talented staff, a strong and stable leadership team and pupils who are ambitious and keen learners.
“Undoubtedly, Mr Kinsey will play a very important role in all aspects of school development as we look to steer the school and its pupils to further success.”
Mr Kinsey said: “I’m really pleased to be joining Welshpool High School. I feel this is an exciting opportunity to be here working with a dedicated team of staff, and talented students. My ambition is to do all I can to help the school fulfill its aim of raising achievement by raising expectations.”
