HUGHES Elizabeth Meirwen Formerly of Arfryn, Carno and Trefaldwyn, Newtown passed away peacefully in Llys Hafren, Welshpool on Friday, 21st October 2022, aged 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Hywel, loving mother and mother in law of Mary & Bill and Anne & Lawrence, dear grandmother of Sarah, Robert and Hannah and proud great grandmother of Rhys, Harri and Steffan. A private burial service will be held followed by a service to celebrate Meirwen's life at the Crescent Christian Centre, Newtown on Friday, 11th November at 3pm.
