REES Harold Meredith The thanksgiving service for the late Harold Meredith Rees of Ashdale, Brondrefach, Bwlch-Y-Sarnau, took place on Tuesday 12th October at Bwlch-Y-Sarnau Baptist Chapel. The service was led by its minister the Rev Philip Lewis & the Rev Robert Thomas gave the tribute. The precentor was Glyn Powell & the organist was Eileen Powell. Bearers were Colin Wozencraft, Jason Jones, Mostyn Griffiths, Gwyn Rees, Geoff Rees & Glyn Powell. Service leaflets were given out by James Rees & Rhydian Davies & the names were taken by Jonathan Evans & Brian Rees. Nigel Watkins & David Hughes directed the car parking. The family wish to thank everyone for the flowers, calls, attendance at the funeral & donations received which amounted to £1500. This was distributed between Bwlch-Y-Sarnau Baptist Chapel, Wales Air Ambulance & Rhayader division St. John's Ambulance. Finally a huge thanks goes to Mike, Marilyn & Suzanne Lloyd for the caring, professional way the funeral arrangements were carried out.
