WINIFRED DEMPSTER SHEPPARD Of Llwyn Onn and previously of East Dudston Farm, Montgomery, passed away peacefully at her home on September 6th 2021 aged 95 years. Beloved Wife of the late Tom Sheppard and loving Mother to Tom, John, Richard and Mary. Mother-in-law to Christine, Jane, Sharon and Jim. Grandmother to 12 and Great-grandmother to 19 children. Winifred will be sadly missed by her Family and those in the community who knew her over many years. Funeral Service will be held at St Nicholas's Church, Montgomery on Wednesday September 22nd 2021 at 11am, followed by Committal at Montgomery Cemetery for the immediate Family only. Family flowers only. Any donations given in memory will be gratefully received for St Nicholas's Church or the Wales Air Ambulance. In loving memory of Winifred who for many years was a close friend of my mother Iris Ellen Amy Clark-Switzman of Plas Trefaldwyn. I found her to be a gentle wise lady with an impish sense of humour who retained a remarkable knowledge of the goings-on in her community even when she became restricted to the confines of her house. My mother and all of our family will really miss her for the friendship she had with Iris but also simply miss her presence in the town. Our best wishes to all her family. Jonathan Switzman
