JONES Bernard (Bernie) Of Newtown, passed away peacefully in the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, on Sunday, 27th June 2021, aged 73 years. Dearly loved husband of Sue, much loved dad of Sally, Mariann, Tammy and the late Keith, father-in-law of Dave, Matt and Andy and a loving brother, uncle and Taid. A private funeral service will be held at Newtown Methodist Church followed by cremation at Aberystwyth Crematorium. The service in the Church will be live streamed. The family have stated that black clothing is optional. Due to number restrictions and people not able to attend the service, the hearse will travel from Sycamore Drive at approx 11.30am, along Canal Road via Newtown Cricket Club on Thursday, 8th July at 11.35am then onto Broad Street, Newtown pausing outside Bet Fred's at 11.45am.
