McCARTHY Annie Theresa "Nancy" Formerly of Stone Street, Newtown passed away peacefully at The Oaks Care Home on Thursday, 18th February 2021 aged 89 years. Beloved mother of Jill and mother in law of Gareth. Devoted nanny to Carla, Lois and Charlie and great nanny to Otis and Norah. Former landlady of The Prince Of Wales, Cambridge Street, Birmingham. A private funeral will take place on Wednesday, 3rd March. For anyone wishing to pay their respects the cortege will be travelling down Broad Street, Newtown at approximately 11.45am. It will also be passing through Abermule at approximately 12noon on its way to the private family burial. The family want to express their heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful staff at Affinity Care, Bethshan Day Centre and The Oaks Care Home, as well as her many friends in the area for their love, care and friendship.
